This 2-hour group runs weekly for7weeks duringTerm 3, 2025 inThomastown. Sessions are staffed by our highly skilledKey worker and Allied Health Assistant utilising your NDIS funding.

By registering for this event, you are registering for the full 7 weeks of group (dates outlined below).

Overview of this group:

This group will focus on building social interactions, following simple instructions, turn taking, executive function skills such as concentration and attention, and practicing fine and gross motor skills.

Throughout the seven weeks children will engage in focused group times, tabletop activities (drawing, pasting, cutting), as well as opportunities for turn taking and being supported to navigate social situations.

The group is run by our highly experienced key workers who help make play time fun for all while focusing on group and individual goals.

Following each session, the staff will document how your child participated in the group which then feeds into a summary report received after the 7 weeks. The report will provide you with the progress your child has made as well as recommendations going forward.

Goals for this group:

Suitable for:

Ages4- 5 yrs who have basic play skills.
Children attending 4 yr old kinder (starting school in 2026)
Children who can sit and engage in a short group story time with minimal support
Children who can follow a simple single step instruction

A parent/carer is not required to stay for the group.

Spare clothing (as needed)

Please ensure you and your child wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, as we will have opportunities to engage in messy play. Art smocks will be supplied (or please feel free to bring your own).

Group Cost: $1305.94 - $1943.20

*Group costings vary dependent on group numbers. Final costing will be advised prior to the group starting.

After each group session, staff will document how your child participated and worked towards their set goals. A summary report will be provided for Term Groups.
